Inca Consulting is operated by Murray Benton who has twelve years experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research for all spheres of government, as well as the community and private sectors. He has previously headed the social research divisions in two other market research companies.
Depending on requirements, Inca Consulting works alone or in collaboration with a range of research organisations and specialist consultants. Purpose-built teams of high calibre are assembled to meet the needs of each individual project.
Murray Benton
Through his work, Murray has focused primarily on policy-related issues and has experience in fields such as health, transport and road safety, education, tourism and environmental issues.
He has worked for clients as diverse as the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, NSW Roads and Traffic Authority, Australian Education International, RailCorp, National Heart Foundation, NSW Police and the NSW Department of Education and Training.
Some landmark studies (all of which have been published) include:
- A two year evaluation of Medi Connect the largest ever Australian Government trial of a centralised electronic health record for consumers
- A large scale evaluation of the Medicines Information for Consumers Program, for the Pharmacy Guild of Australia
- The preparation of a Latin America market entry strategy for Australian education and training providers
- Research conducted internationally to support the development of the Study in Australia brand.
Murray is a member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society and the Australasian Evaluation Society.
Rohan Pigott
Rohan has twelve years experience as a social researcher and evaluation consultant. She has undertaken work for Commonwealth, State and Local Government clients including the Department of Health and Ageing, the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, NSW Health, the NSW Department of Education and Training, and Sutherland Shire Council.
Rohan has conducted research and evaluation in a wide range of social policy fields. Her key areas of interest include health (including mental health and Indigenous health), schools programs, child care and Indigenous issues.
Rohan’s expertise includes the following areas of work

- Development of evaluation frameworks (which set out the how and why for evaluating a project, program or organisation)
